MUMBAI: Companies such as Mangalam Cement, Multi Commodity Exchange and Reliance Capital saw bulk deals in Thursday’s trade. For the day, Sensex closed 4.23 per cent or 1,265.66 points higher at 31,159.62, while the Nifty closed 4 per cent or 354 points higher at 9,102.75. During the holiday-shortened week, the indices rallied 10.24 per cent and 10.28 per cent, respectively. Here’s who bought what in some of the key bulk deals of the day: >> India Capital Fund pared some of its holdings and sold 8,31,754 shares of Mangalam Cement at Rs 150.03 each, while Spark On Line lapped up 2,00,000 shares in the company at Rs 150 each.

India Capital Fund held 7.39 per cent stake in the company as of December end, shareholding data showed. Shares of Mangalam Cement closed 1.82 per cent higher at Rs 151 on NSE. >> Club Millionaire Financial Service PMS sold 3,34,124 shares of Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at Rs 999.35 each.

MCX shares closed 1.15 per cent lower at Rs 1,001 on the NSE. >> Axis Trustee Services sold 43,64,500 shares of Reliance Capital at Rs 4.50.

Reliance Capital shares closed 2.27 per cent higher at Rs 4.50 on NSE. >> Axis Trustee Services sold 37,89,286 shares of Reliance Home Finance at Rs 0.75 each.

Reliance Home Finance shares closed flat at Rs 0.75 per share. >> Infinity Holdings bought 100,00,000 shares of Sequent Scientific at Rs 78.01 per share.

On the other hand, TIMF Holdings and CVR Enterprise sold 75,00,000 shares and 25,19,241 shares in the company at Rs 78 each.
