NEW DELHI: The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.74 per cent down at 28,624.55 around 12:10 pm on Monday with its components trading on a mixed note.
Shares of Procter Gamble Hygiene Healthcare (up 1.80 per cent), Britannia Industries (up 1.55 per cent), Marico (up 0.71 per cent), GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (up 0.47 per cent) were among the top performers.
Jubilant Foodworks (down 1.62 per cent), Hindustan Unilever (down 1.44 per cent), Dabur India (down 1.41 per cent) and Godrej Consumer Products (down 1.15 per cent) were among the worst performers.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 58.15 points at 10,494.85 while BSE Sensex was 150.21 points at 34861.44 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.
Shares of Axis Bank, SBI, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, NTPC, SAIL, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Idea Cellular, ONGC, BHEL, LT Fin Holding, Vedanta, Indian Oil Corp and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
