Bangladesh’s latest election sparked widespread debate as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Awami League won their fourth term amid disputes.Critics allege election rigging, and opposition parties boycotted, raising global concerns about the country’s political direction.Hasina’s party won 223 out of 299 seats.

Despite this, their victory is clouded by claims of unfairness.The opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) dismissed the election as a facade, opting out and demanding neutral administration.Voter turnout was notably low, around 40%, a sharp drop from 2018’s 80%.
