NEW DELHI: Most of fertilisers stocks were trading in green in morning trading session on Thursday.

Shares of Fertilizers Chemicals Tranvancore (up 8.07 per cent), Rashtriya Chemicals Fertilizers (up 7.09 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers Chem (up 5.97 per cent), National Fertilizer (up 5.92 per cent) and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 3.54 per cent) were top gainers among fertilizer stocks.

Southern Petrochemicals Industries (up 3.23 per cent), Khaitan Chemicals Fertilizers (up 2.35 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers Chemicals (up 1.93 per cent) and Basant Agro Tech (India) (up 1.91 per cent) too were trading higher. The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 7.40 points down at 10,847.75 at around 09:57 am.

The 30share BSE Sensex was up 4.42 points at 36,217.33 at around same time.

UPL (up 1.50 per cent), Tata Motors (up 1.20 per cent), Larsen Toubro (up 0.77 per cent), Mahindra Mahindra (up 0.76 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 0.74 per cent), NTPC (up 0.61 per cent), Bajaj Auto (up 0.57 per cent) and Infosys (up 0.55 per cent) were among top gainers in Nifty pack.

On other hand, Bharti Infratel (down 2.29 per cent), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (down 2.26 per cent), IndusInd Bank (down 2.16 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (down 1.34 per cent), Axis Bank (down 1.07 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation (down 0.87 per cent) were trading in red.
