'Drunk' leaflet detained for misbehaving with airhostess

BENGALURU: A 33-year-old “drunk” flyer, identified as Randheer Singh from Rajasthan’s Sikar district, was arrested Sunday on the charge of misbehaving with an air hostess on flight 6E556 of IndiGo airlines from Jaipur to Bengaluru on Friday evening, police said.

He was subsequently released on bail.Singh was under the influence of alcohol and misbehaved with an airhostess, repeatedly holding her hand despite warnings, according to IndiGo official Varun Kumar.He said fellow passengers noticed Singh’s unruly conduct and alerted the crew.

Singh was declared an unruly passenger by the flight captain.Upon landing at Bengaluru airport, the cabin crew filed a complaint.

Varun Kumar officially reported the incident to airport police on Saturday, leading to Singh’s arrest on Sunday.
